Method
- Measure out all ingredients and prepare your fruit puree if making from fresh fruits.
- Add the chilled rum, fruit puree, spices, sweetener, and crushed ice into your blender.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth, frosty, and slightly slushy, about 30-45 seconds.
- Check the consistency; if it’s too thick, add a splash of water or more fruit puree and blend briefly to combine.
- Pour the slushie mixture into chilled glasses, allowing some foam or ice crystals to top the surface.
- Garnish with a slice of exotic fruit or a sprig of mint for a festive touch.
Notes
For an extra tropical flair, rim glasses with sugar or shredded coconut before pouring.
