  • 1 cup milk preferably whole milk for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar, to taste
  • 1 vanilla bean vanilla bean split and scraped
  • 1 cup ice cubes crushed or whole

Method
 

  1. Slice open the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the tiny seeds, then add both the seeds and pod to the blender.
  2. Pour in the milk and add honey, then give everything a quick swirl to distribute the vanilla flavor.
  3. Add the ice cubes to the blender, ensuring they surround the liquid ingredients for easy blending.
  4. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and ice crystals are finely broken down, about 30-45 seconds.
  5. Stop the blender and taste the slushie; adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey and blend again briefly.
  6. Pour the creamy vanilla slushie into glasses, allowing it to mound slightly with a frosty texture on top.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon, enjoying the thick, icy texture and rich vanilla aroma.
