  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup optional, for extra sweetness

Method

  1. Add the cubed watermelon, mint leaves, lime juice, and honey (if using) into the blender.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth, bright pink, and fully combined, about 30-60 seconds. The texture should be icy and slushy.
  3. Pour in the chilled sparkling water and give a quick pulse just to combine, allowing some of the bubbles to remain for a fizzy effect.
  4. Taste the slushie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or lime if desired, then blend briefly again to incorporate.
  5. Pour the slushie into glasses, allowing the icy mixture to mound slightly above the rim for a visually appealing presentation.
  6. Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint and a small wedge of lime for a fresh, fragrant finish.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to enjoy the icy, juicy texture that feels like a mini vacation in a glass.

Notes

For an extra icy texture, freeze the blended mixture for 30 minutes before serving. You can also add a splash of vodka or rum for an adult version.
